105. BONFIRE AND MAKE S’MORES

To make this even more special, go beyond the typical s’mores ingredients. Add peppermint patties, peanut butter cups, and white chocolate as alternatives to the classic milk chocolate bar option. You can also use different types of cookies (vanilla wafers would be a good choice) in place of graham crackers. Use some sparklers to make things even more festive.

106. LEMONADE OR TEMPORARY TATTOO STAND!

Either the classic lemonade stand or a temporary tattoo stand is a fun way to spend a few hours outdoors. Make sure to setup in an area that gets a fair amount of traffic, otherwise the kids will get bored pretty quickly. Besides the actual cups of lemonade or tattoo cutouts, they’ll need spare change and something to work as a till (could be as simple as a shoebox). The kids will also need a wet rag to help with tattoo application for the tattoo stand. For an autumnal spin on the lemonade stand, switch things up with an apple cider stand!
